'Carnivore' Daniel Dream slowly walked into his gym. The walls had cracks in it but that was mostly caused by a certain someone banging his masked head into the wall out of frustration, the gym itself was very well built, again like a certain someone. Daniel walks into the bathroom of the Slaughterhouse Gym, facing the mirror, dressed in a black jacket over his black long-sleeve shirt with the hoodie over his yellow Smiley mask, and the Trios Championship above the waist of his blue jeans. Daniel speaks in his calm voice to his reflection.
"There once was a universe with no gods save one. It was not honored with temples or statues. There were no praises sung. There were no prophets to carry out its will. Holy books did not exist. But none of it had to. There is no need to praise the god. It walked among the humans. It was with them at every step. Without a face or a voice, it did exactly what a god does. Because there was nobody else to carry the weight. I got the weight of a million universes on my back...the ECWF universe, AW universe, etc. The hottest free agent on the market is available to you, they told anyone with a ring and a checkbook, and for the right price he can make your company better. When I joined HCW as my alter Carnivore, I signed my name on that dotted line with the idea of putting a shitty past behind me. With the idea of moving past...The powers that be. Ghosts of bloodbaths past, I guess you could say. IT WAS DIFFERENT. IT WAS a fresh start. It was supposed to be something new without the bullshit Resurrection Man stigma that lurked around. When I joined Action Wrestling, I had settled into mediocrity. I had accepted fate…I was nothing more than a wrestler. My past was indeed that…a past that caught up to me and I was lucky to get out of without a scratch. I hated mediocrity, but the stability…it was growing on me. I have been to the top of an industry and you will never fucking get there. Everywhere I go I have been at the top from ECWF as The Resurrected One to IBW as Daniel Dream to Shining Road as Drew Dream. I know people are wishing the old Carni spills out, careful what you wish for, the universe will grant your every wish. People might think that Daniel Dream is trash but clearly they aren't paying attention then."
Carnivore readjusts the Horrorcore Championship on his right shoulder.
"Still think I don't have what it takes to be champion? Might die. Might be a hero. I was a hero then I’ll be a hero now. Ever alter each flowing endlessness with their own personalities and strengths and weaknesses. So much potential. So much potential and they squander it over such petty garbage. I propose a solution. Everything we’ve accomplished...nothing would’ve been done without a leader. We need a leader. You need me. God bless us everyone, we're a broken people living under loaded gun and it can't be outfought. It can't be outdone. It can't be outmatched. It can't be outrun. No!"
Carnivore turns away from the mirror and finally addresses the camera.
"What I want is to prove to the world that I am the best in this business, and that there isn’t a single fucking person that can beat me…in other words, you’re getting your ass beat by me. I ain't afraid to beat some ass and I'm going to do just that at Friday Night Revolution and there isn’t a single person out there in the world that knows what I put into winning this Horrorcore Championship and there is a cold day in hell's chance that I'll lose this championship to you. But a chance exists. And there’s no one on this roster who is better prepared to go to war with you, Thor. War, huh? War. I see it being said that Friday Night Revolution will be a war. They don't know anything about war. Nothing worthwhile will ever be easy. If this championship was easy to capture, you’re in the wrong company. Does my name make this even more difficult for you? Maybe it does. What if you pull this off? You are the future of wrestling. And you know what? That future could start next week. But you have to prepare yourself for this battle. You have to focus. You have to put in the work. And you have to leave it all out in the ring, from bell to bell. If you believe then you can achieve. There's something about Thor, he is a once in a generational superstar. He will be the number one star in pro wrestling for the next ten to five years. Thor is not like others, he is willing to play this role until the day he dies. Quickly picked up the skill. He'll rip apart anyone. The kid is ready for the Horrorcore Championship. The kid is ready to carry the company. The kid is the future."
"Some people think I have a delusional identity disorder, I’m not under some sort of delusion that I should be important or something, I am the man, the myth, the legend, I am The Resurrected One, the son of God, made in his image."
"Myths are not stories that are untrue...Rather they are tales that don't fit neatly into the historical record...Which serve as a foundation to a culture. Everyone is the good guy in their own story right? Reality is a myth and myth is the reality. What I think and say is gospel in this country and this world. That’s how history is written, and will continue to be. There’s a trail of bodies and a shiny gold championship to my name that makes the case very well that I am what I say I am.”
"Just as God intended."

Post by Sah'ta Thor on Sept 18, 2020 20:38:51 GMT -6
It had been just under eight years since the man known as Sah'ta Thor had been inside an ECWF wrestling ring. Multiple lifetimes in the terms of the wrestling industry. Many things had changed in his life yet at the core of who he was Sah'ta Thor was the same man he was when he had first stepped into the industry. However, one could say that his motivation for being in the ring had changed. Such was the reason he had even decided to come to the Extreme Championship Wrestling Federation in the first place. He is shown standing in the center of a wrestling ring under a spotlight in a red and gold"Seven Sins" t-shirt and a pair of black jeans. His customary ring gear these days. Over his shoulders was a championship belt that was held in such a way that it couldn't be seen clearly.
"Hello Revolutionaries. I bet you never thought you would ever see me inside an ECWF ring ever again. I am sure when you heard that I was going to be in a match on Revo 150 you thought it was a bad joke or maybe a way for the management to have a bit of fun at your expense. I get the reactions considering how I left the company all those years ago. Yet, that was a lifetime ago and I have actually come back to the ECWF. Don't get me wrong, if things were as they had been years ago I wouldn't be standing here. Which brings us to the here and now. I am back starting at Revo 150."
He stops speaking as he raises his hand up to touch the belt on his shoulder with a smirk on his lips. As he rubs the belt his hand shifts it down to reveal that it was an old ECWF championship.
"Last time I was inside an ECWF ring I was a champion. In fact, the belt resting over my shoulder was that belt. The ECWF Extreme Championship. I was the last man to ever hold this belt before it was retired by the management. Though like I said that was a lifetime ago. Now I have new challenges to face here in the ECWF. New goals to achieve. New challengers to face in the ring."
With a steady motion Thor pulls the ECWF Extreme Championship off his shoulder and holds it in the air for a moment before dropping it outside of the circle of light he was standing in.
"You see I have been welcomed back into the company by the boss himself. His welcome back extends so far as to give me a shot at the Horror-Core Championship that is currently held by one Daniel Dream. While I don't personally know the Carnivore or any of the other personas that the champion has in his arsenal I have heard things. I will be completely honest when I say that I haven't watched much on Dream due to my dealing with some other matters recently. However, don't take that as an insult or an indication that I won't do what I need to do when the bell rings. Thing is I will openly admit that I am towards the end of my career. Though I will get into the reasons behind that fact at another time. The reality of the situation is that I have nothing to lose when I get in the ring and while you might not get who I am you will learn that I am not some push over."
Sah'ta Thor falls silent as he licks his lips wetting them while he contemplates his next words.
"What amuses me is that even after over a decade in this industry that people still think I am so kid just coming into the business. Let me quickly disabuse you of that notion. I first stepped into a professional wrestling ring at the age of 42 in February of 2007 debuting a company that has been dead since 2008. I am sure you can do the math but to aid those who can't that was over thirteen-and-a-half years ago. Which means I am 55 years old going into this fight with Daniel Dream. I am not pointing this out to set up an excuse if I lose. No rather the opposite actually. Think about this folks, I started in this business at age most wrestlers would have already retired. Anyone who has actually followed my career would know the things I have done over the years. Which let me tell you now I will do what I need to do to walk out of Revo 150 as the new ECWF Horror-Core Champion. See you in the ring Daniel."
With that Thor stops and gives a grin while thrusting his arm in the air. After a few seconds the spotlight turns off leaving the ring in darkness.
