{The screen comes up and we find ourselves in a gym somewhere with Reno Dumont sitting on a bench looking at the camera with a smug little smirk on his face while the number one contender tot he Next Gen championship in Robert Armstrong works on the heavy bag in the background-heavy weights around his wrists and ankles as he pummels the bag}
Reno: Tell me something, Dan Anderson, do you see this man right here? This is a man who is working very hard and diligently to keep his body in the most top fighting form as possible between events so that he can continue to hone and perfect his craft and that craft being one of the most destructive forces in this industry that he and I and you have chosen to spend our adult lives in.
This is a man who has waited for you to say something or show us something that you are taking this match as every bit seriously as he is and yet the only thing that you've shown him is nothing but contempt and disrespect for that very championship that you hold by not saying a damn word or even bothering to make an appearance.
{Reno reaches up and takes off his sunglasses before using them to point at the camera}
Reno: Now I have mentioned this in quite a few of my other promos over the past few weeks but it seems to me that quite a lot of the people that have been here longer than a hot Texan minute seem to be of the belief that they don't have to cut a promo or show effort in their work and then they turn right around and demand...*DEMAND*...to be acknowledged for their greatness the moment that they step into the ring.
Heather Haze doesn't do that and she is even greater for that for she is simply great in that way.
But you, Danny Boy, you have to step into the ring and fucking explain yourself to this man behind me. The man that at Starcade you'll be facing off against for this company's Next Generation championship that you will *LOOSE* to because you are simply not prepared for the hell that Robert Armstrong will be unleashing upon your scrawny ass at the pay per view.
And for that, I want to thank you for surrendering up your title to serve as the first piece of gold for my glorious bastards here in ECWF.
{The camera then shifts its view over to Armstrong who has stopped his workout as he undoes the weights strapped to his right wrist and shakes it out as he looks hard into the camera}
Robert: Unlike my erstwhile mouthpiece here, I really don't give two shits about why you haven't said anything thus far about our match, Mister Anderson. Because all that does matter is what will happen the moment that you step between those ropes and the bell rings at which point the only thing that you'll be explaining will be to your friends and family about why you got beaten so easily and the answer will because of your own hubris.
You were given every chance by me, your opponent at Starcade, to show me why you deserve to remain as the Next Gen champion...only for you to constantly say nothing at all...not even a hushed whisper of the ghost of an insult, almost like you're either too afraid to say anything because you know that at the pay per view I'm going to be laying your ass out in front of the hundreds and hundreds of the Rogues' fans as I become the new champion...or you're too arrogant and this arrogance makes you believe that you are too immortal, too invincible, or maybe too tough to ever be beaten by a man whose sole job is to step into that ring and lay people the hell out with blood pooling in their mouths as a reminder of what a real fighter looks like?
{Robert then undoes the other weight from his wrist and shakes it out as well, his gaze never leaving the camera}
Robert: The point of the matter is that at Starcade, I *will* be walking out as the new champion and there's not anything that you can do to stop it from happening.
Simply because it's time for that title to belong to someone who actually will fight for it instead of someone who only sees it for a piece of bling...
See you at the pay per view, Danny Boy. Make sure that you're ready to bleed.
{The screen then fades to black}

Scene 1
The scene opens up in a studio that's set up for a sit down interview. The one who will conducting the interview is a woman named Jennifer Rowlett, who enters from the left side of the studio, sitting down in one of the chairs.
(Jennifer Rowlett)
Jennifer was recently hired by Ryan Kruger to be the personal interviewer for the Age of Fall. She will only do interviews with the Age of Fall and nobody else. The camera is focused on Jennifer as she gets ready to speak, motioning for the camera crew to start recording.
Jennifer Rowlett Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time. The Nex*Gen Champion, Dan Anderson
The camera focuses on Dan Anderson and Gage Atlas as they enter the studio from the right side. Dan is all smiles, laughing, the Nex*Gen Championship draped over his shoulder. Dan takes a seat across from Jennifer, Gage standing behind him. The camera pans out to get all three in the shot.
Jennifer Rowlett I want to take a moment to thank you for takin g time out of your day for this interview. I know you're a busy man, especially with StarrCade around the corner.
Dan Anderson The pleasure is all mine. I have some time to kill before StarrCade so I figured I could squeeze in a interview.
Jennifer Rowlett StarrCade will be quite the eventful night for you. Not only are you challenging for the World Tag Team Championships along with Roxanne but you're also defending your Nex*Gen Championship. Aren't you worried about the possibility of walking out of StarrCade empty handed?
Dan Anderson I'm not worried about that. I'm fully confident that I'll be walking out of StarrCade as a double Champion. Some might see it as me being arrogant and it's ok if they do. It's just...I believe in myself. I believe in my abilities. I believe I can get the job done. I believe I'm just that damn good. As for me being in two matches at StarrCade, it's a opportunity to redeem myself from what happened on the last StarrCade I participated in. You see, I was on top of the world heading into StarrCade fifteen. I had the Worldheavyweight Championship in my possession and just like everyone else who has held the Worldheavyweight Championship, I let the Championship blind my vision. I let the Championship get to my head and it would lead to me losing the Worldheavyweight Championship. Since that night, I vowed to not only regain the Worldheavyweight Championship but to redeem myself from the last StarrCade outing. Not only will I help Roxanne win her first Championship but also retain my Nex*Gen Championship. In the process, proving myself to be the Iron Man of ECWF. Sure, there are some other people on the roster who are also in two matches but I will be the only one to win both of my matches. Back to back, I might add. My performance is going into the history books and everyone will have no choice but to acknowledge me.
Jennifer Rowlett Before we talk about your matches at StarrCade, I want to talk about the Worldheavyweight Championship for a bit. Shortly after the Age of Fall made their return to ECWF last year, you decided to step back from the Worldheavyweight Championship picture. Why is that?
Dan Anderson When the Age of Fall came back to ECWF, it seemed like I was set for a collision course with someone who beat me for the Worldheavyweight Championship. However, ol' Kevin Hunter had to stick his nose where it didn't belong, doing exactly what I thought he was going to do. He swooped in and took the Worldheavyweight Championship shot for himself. So I stepped back into the shadows, just so I could watch him fail. Which he did. Spectacularly. He received numerous shots at the Worldheavyweight Championship and he failed, every single time. He couldn't handle the taste of defeat. He couldn't handle the thought of not being the Worldheavyweight Champion so he tucked his tail between his legs and went to hide in his doghouse, never to be seen again. Hopefully. The Worldheavyweight Championship picture has gotten...interesting since then and eventually, I will emerge from the shadows and reclaim the Worldheavyweight Championship. In the meantime, I figured it would be a good time to cross something off of my bucket list. Becoming a Grand Slam Champion...legitimately. Unlike someone who was basically handed the Grand Slam achievement by beating one of his teammates in a impromptu match.
Jennifer Rowlett In your first match on StarrCade, you and Roxanne will be teaming together to take on Razor Blade and Latoya Hixx for the World Tag Team Championships. Along the way to StarrCade, the two have been on quite the run and you two even attacked the Champs on a Revolution. How are you feeling heading into the match?
Dan Anderson I'm feeling great. Roxanne and I have been bulldozing through whoever is placed in our path. So I have no doubt that Roxanne and I will take those World Tag Team Championships from Razor Blade and Latoya Hixx. If nobody couldn't beat us these past few Revolutions then there's no way in hell that those two are stopping us. We are unstoppable. Undeniable. Uncrowned. Those attacks on the Champs on the lead up to StarrCade were messages to them. The message being their time as Champions are up. At StarrCade, they should kiss their Championships good bye because when it's all said and done, the Age of Fall will be standing over them as the new World Tag Team Champions. Once the World Tag Team Championships are in the Age of Fall's possession, we will make them prestigious. Meaningful. Relevant.
Jennifer Rowlett After the World Tag Team Championships match, you will be defending your Nex*Gen Championship against Robert Armstrong of the Rogue Horsemen. What are your thoughts on him?
Dan Anderson In my eyes, Robert is just another generic tough guy. Who has the tendency of counting his eggs before they hatch. He already thinks he has the match won, all because I have yet to say anything. It's laughable that he has the idea of him beating me for MY Nex*Gen Championship imprinted into his neanderthal brain already. He's going to find out what happens when you assume victory is in your fingertips. He's going to be humbled and embarrassed on the grandest stage of them all. The worst part of it all? He's going to lose to a man who isn't going to be at one hundred percent. Just imagine how embarrassing it would be if he couldn't beat me after I just went through one match already. So embarrassing that he should just pack it up and go home, taking his team with him. He may think he's a threat to my reign as Nex*Gen Champion but he's not. He's just going to be a footnote. The one of many challengers who will fall on my quest towards becoming the greatest Nex*Gen Champion of all time. Robert, I want to remember the lesson I'm going to teach you at StarrCade and I want you to remember for the rest of your days. Never assume victory is guaranteed. Otherwise, you will look like a fool when you fail to defeat someone you think you could of beaten. You talked a big game, mister tough guy but the question is...can you back it up? We'll see at StarrCade. I just hope you're ready to be shown up and embarrassed by the reigning, defending, Nex*Gen Champion. Dan Anderson.
Jennifer Rowlett I want to thank you for your time and I wish you good at StarrCade.
Dan Anderson Anytime.
Dan shakes Jennifer's hand before making his exit, Gage following right behind him. The camera focuses back on Jennifer as she gets ready to speak again.
Jennifer Rowlett There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. Dan is feeling supremely confident heading into StarrCade. Can Dan make history at StarrCade by winning both of his matches and becoming a double Champion in the process? Tune in to find out. This is Jennifer Rowlett, signing out. See you all next time! Bye bye!
Jennifer waves bye at the camera as the screen slowly fades to black, signaling the end of the scene.
Scene 2
The scene opens up in a darkish room with a few candles lit up in the middle of the room. A few seconds later, Dan makes his way into the room, dressed in a suit, and the Nex*Gen Championship draped over his shoulder. Flanked of course by his bodyguard, Gage Atlas. Dan stands in front of the candles, Gage standing to his right. Dan has a slight grin on his face, adjusting his Nex*Gen Championship before he begins speaking.
Dan Anderson Hello ladies and gentlemen. Standing before you is the reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion, Dan Anderson. Along with the 2022 Manager of the Year, Gage Atlas.
He motions towards Gage, who nods at the camera, a stoic expression on his face.
Dan Anderson I'm going to take a moment to praise Gage for being the best bodyguard anyone could ask for. Gage has been in my corner throughout my journey in ECWF. He's not afraid to take a bullet for me. He's not afraid to get his hands dirty. He's not afraid to take out anyone who sticks their noses in my business. Him winning the 2022 Manager of the Year just shows how great he is. Him winning the award means he's being recognized as the best Manager in ECWF. Far better than any other manager that isn't affiliated with the Age of Fall. Hell, he might even win the award for years to come because he basically has no competition in that category.
A slight grin appears on Gage's face, hearing the praise from Dan, feeling like he got the recognition he deserved upon winning the 2022 Manager of the Year.
Dan Anderson Now then, don't think I haven't forgotten about you, mister tough guy. Sure, I may of been busy with the World Tag Team Champions but I haven't taken my eyes off of you. I've been watching you like a hawk. Watching every little move you make. Listening to all the nonsense that you have uttered. I give you some credit for managing to pick up a few wins here and there, making you seem like a decent challenger. However, your little streak comes to an end. Whatever luck you accumulated will be gone in a instant.
He snaps his fingers.
Dan Anderson I have to ask you...do you have anything original to say? Really, it's a honest question. All I hear from you is you whining and crying about having to make the first move. How my supposed "silence" means I'm afraid of you or whatever narrative you're trying to spin. Robby, you should get some new material. For once in your life, use your neanderthal brain to think of something original. Otherwise, just keep your damn mouth shut because no one wants to hear this supposedly tough guy cry like...what Desmond call you. Oh, that's right. A little bitch.
A slight smirk appears on Dan's face.
Dan Anderson You actually believe that you can take this Nex*Gen Championship from me? Ha! In your wildest dreams. Have you not seen the run I have been on since the beginning of the year? Have you not seen the people I beaten leading up to this encounter? People that includes the legendary Scotty Paine and even one of your fellow Rogue Horsemen teammate, Caine Marik. If he couldn't take this Nex*Gen Championship from me then what makes you think you can? Just because you assume that I wasn't going to say anything means I'm going to beaten so easily. You really do live in a fantasy land...or you have your head so far up your ass that all you see is shit. Nonetheless, it's time to give you a reality check. You're not in my league. Your arms is just too short to box with God. I'm closing in on holding the Nex*Gen Championship for 100 days and I'm doing in my power to ensure the Championship stays in my possession. I'm going to hold onto the Nex*Gen Championship for as long as I want and you or anybody else is not taking this Championship from me. You want to know what's going to be embarrassing? Me beating you when I'm less than one hundred percent. If you can't beat me when I'm less than one hundred percent then what makes you think that you can beat me when I'm at hundred percent. You're never going to live this loss down.
Dan shakes his head, pausing for a few seconds then he resumes speaking, a serious expression starting to form on his face.
Dan Anderson The time for talking is over. Now, it's time for me to shut you up, knock your teeth down your throat, and send you to the depths of the abyss, left to rot in your own mediocrity until you take your last breath. Robert, just know that what happens to you is on your hands. You brought this upon yourself. You have no one to blame but yourself for what's to come. You have been marked for death and now, it's time to meet your maker. Your Rogue Horsemen brethren and those watching StarrCade will bare witness to the execution of Robert Armstrong. Mister tough guy who thought victory was guaranteed for him. Only to meet his end, falling short at the finish line. Your fate has been sealed. Judgment Day is upon you. Your demise is inevitable. Remember this night, Robby. The night you met your downfall at the hands of Dan Anderson. The current reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion and the next World Tag Team Champion. Believe that.
Dan briefly smirks at the camera then he starts laughing, blowing the candles out, darkness filling the room. Laughter could heard but it gets fainter and fainter, as if Dan and Gage have left the room. Silence momentarily fills the air before static appears on the screen. Static remains on the screen for another few seconds before the scene abruptly fades to black.
