The scene opens with Angellus and his wife Tiffany Saints arriving at the arena as tonight he's fighting J.J. Burgess in a Horror-Core Rules match for the number one contender's spot for the Horror-Core Championship.
Angellus and Tiffany make their way through the arena and the hordes of fans that are filing into the arena as they make their way to their locker room so Angellus can relax a bit before this grueling match against J.J. Burgess.
Angellus: Tonight my opponent J.J. Burgess is in for a world of hurt as she has the unfortunate task of facing me in this grueling match type, in this match there are no disqualifications or anything stopping either of us from using everything that's not nailed down and I welcome the challenge of you, J.J. Burgess and I hope that you really bring the best that you can muster because I know that I am going to against you.
Tiffany Saints: J.J., you're not in the same league as my husband Angellus so I don't expect much from you during the match because you're not as hardcore or as driven by violence the way Angellus is. He has fought in more hardcore style matches in his career than anyone else in this business. The fans were cheering when this match was revealed as these fans are blood thirsty and they love all the carnage and blood that's going to be unleashed by Angellus.
Angellus continues to relax in his locker room as the scene fades to black.

J.J. Burgess versus Angellus. Vancouver, Canada. Cameras: on. Audio: on.
J.J. Burgess paces back and forth in front of the fence surrounding a basketball court. One half of the basketball court has teenagers playing a game. The other half of the basketball court has grown men playing a game. She’s wearing a pastel purple dress, a watch with pastel purple straps, a pastel purple bracelet, a pastel purple necklace, sunglasses with pastel purple frames and black lenses, brown leggings, and black hiking boots. There’s shouting and cussing from the teenagers and men on the basketball court. It blends in with the sounds of the rest of the city.
J.J. is trying to hide her frustration.
J.J. Burgess: “So it’s another horrocore match huh? But this time I could be number one contender to the Horrorcore championship. A part of me wonders if Rock N Roll God wants me to wrestle against Angellus just for laughs. For some reason I’m still unsure if Rock N Roll God takes me seriously or not.”
Sirens can be heard getting louder and louder. J.J.’s eyes grow wide and she looks all around her. The teenagers and grown men keep playing basketball despite the sirens. A police car speeds past the basketball court but stop at the apartment complex just a little down the block. Sirens keep getting louder and louder again. More police cars come from different directions and stop at a apartment complex a little down the block. The teenagers and grown men continue to play their games undeterred. J.J. turns herself back to the camera. Her eyes are back to their normal size. J.J.’s tone of voice becomes serious.
J.J. Burgess: “Well if they ain’t running then I’m not either.”
She sighs and folds her arms. She turns to the camera and stays still.
J.J. Burgess: “So anyway like I was saying, I knew that my boss was going to make me prove myself more this time around. He booked me against Angellus. The big bastard that’s over six feet tall, over two hundred pounds, and the descendant of a grandfather and father who used to be professional wrestlers. Angellus claims he was a athlete all his life. He played baseball, basketball, football, and did wrestling. He even won national titles while in college. When I was in school I played softball and basketball too. Angellus you say your mother died when you were eighteen. Well at least you had your mom around for eighteen years to begin with. I never had a mom.”
J.J. makes the statement so bitterly. Her eyes are narrowed.
J.J. Burgess: “That’s where the similarities end. I get that your big, strong, and….You know what that’s about it. You’re not particularly intelligent or brave. You like so many in ECWF cower behind a faction. The Outsiders aren’t really outsiders. They’re some of the most uninteresting guys in ECWF. You’re a milk toast kind of guy yourself Angellus. Matter of fact I’m so confused as to how you’re wife Tiffany can call herself a future legend. Where? How? Does she even wrestle? If she’s just a manager then fine but is she capable of handling herself in a catfight? Tiffany are you woman enough to let your husband fight his own battles? You better be. Because I know what’s necessary to do if you get involved. We will be scrapping and I will win. But oh I’m not done.”
J.J. rolls her eyes.
J.J. Burgess: “Tiffany being at your side is understandable Angellus. But why does a grown married man need someone like Skullbreaker at ring side? Again I ask: what he fuck is you doing? I swear there’s nothing but wimps all through this roster. I know that this Horrorcore match won’t be fun. Usually they can be fun for me but not this time around. This time I’m serious. I don’t like intergender matches but I’m brave enough to show up and fight. The intergender match I was in was the 2022 All or Nothing War. In that match I had male tag team partners to help. I’m going to fight you all by myself.”
J.J. unfolds her arms and puts her hands into her pockets. She paces back and forth.
J.J. Burgess: “I’m going to be plain here. Angellus you’re delusional. I’m no christian but according to them there’s only one Prince of Darkness. That guy sure wouldn’t choose you as a human avatar. He wouldn’t choose Skullbreaker either. Neither one of you have the magnetism or good looks Satan would need to keep wreaking havoc on this plane of existence. Underneath the mask you’re just a dude who broods a lot. I’m more than that. I have my brooding moments too but for you it’s your whole life. Well I’m gonna give you more reasons to be upset. I’m gonna defeat you. Whether it's by a lucky roll up or I trap you in the Badge of Dishonor and refuse to let go, you’re going to be defeated. You have barely competed this year. I have been consistently in the ring this year. You can do all the work outs you want, nothing compares to really getting into the squared circle. When I get in that wrestling ring I have to do whatever I can to have all my brain cells firing on all cylinders. My killer instinct is one of my greatest assets as a competitor. If I put my mind to it I could probably catch you off guard with a Hip and Run and beat you that way. Although I can admit it would take more than one Hip and Run to put you down. You probably think it will be easy to catch me and then slam me. I can’t wait to show you how much of a women’s wrestler I am. I can’t wait to make a fool out of you.”
J.J. smiles as if her plan is coming together the way she wants.
Random Deep Voice: “Ay yo! Ain’t you that one chick from ECWF wearing all them bright ass colors?”
J.J. was going to ignore them until those four letters left his mouth. She stops pacing back and forth. She turns around and looks through the fence. Standing on the other side of the fence is a black grown man with baggy jeans and a Sean John shirt. He has cornrows in his hair. J.J. points to her own cornrows with the pastel purple headband around them.
J.J. Burgess: “We both got cornrows today.”
The random man smiles.
Random Black Guy: “Yeah. I’m about to get my shit redone tomorrow. Anyway what’s up with the camera?”
J.J. Burgess: “It was for my promo that’s all. Anyway who’s winning the game?”
Another grown man who looks latino yells from across the court.
Random Latino: “My crew winning!”
The black man turns around and yells back across the court.
Random Black Guy: “You lyin’ like a motherfucker!”
J.J. chuckles. Then there’s gunshots immediately followed by screaming. She looks in the direction of where the gunshots came from. It was the apartment complex with all the police cars parked outside of it. She looks at the basketball court and everyone is scattering. J.J. starts to run up the sidewalk in the opposite direction of the apartment complex.
