prologue Everything that I've done has shown that I can be anything that I set my mind to. Since becoming the ECWF World Heavyweight Champion, I have had target after target after target on my back. And guess what? I enjoyed it. I proved myself when I walked out of Wartime still the ECWF World Heavyweight Champion. Heather is going to be there as the special referee, and I know that she's going to do whatever it takes to try to screw me out of the win. But what this little hothead is forgetting is that if she tries anything to screw with me, I'm going to break her. It's funny because Heather has been on my bad side since the moment I stepped foot in this company. When she saw me, she was terrified. Now she wants to play mind games. Why? Why is that? What could be going through her pretty little head? I have nothing against Heather, as she's been a fine champion, but at Starrcade, that ends. Heather, do you want to see dominate? You'll see it when I go through Dawn Warren and show you how a real champion does in the ring. You see, when I pin her, I know you'll go so slowly that it'll make me look bad. But I think you’re smarter than that, right? I know you wouldn’t want something to happen to your pretty face, would you? If I did, then nobody is going to want you. If that were to happen, nobody would want to see your ugliness. But remember, this isn’t about your looks. Nah, what’s ugly is your attitude. You see, I would rather be ugly on the outside than on the inside. On the inside, it’s going to eat you alive until you learn to fix all your mistakes. Do you want to see a warrior, Heather? Do you want to try to make sure I get humiliated? Bring it on. I’m going to go right through Dawn, and when I make her submit, I’m going to look you in the eyes and watch the fear grow. Oh, you didn’t know that I’m good at submission? You’re going to see that finally. Heather, I’m more dangerous than any woman you've ever faced. I’m someone who has been defying the odds since day one. I’ve spilled my blood in this ring. I’ve been through more hell since day one. And you know something? I wouldn’t change a thing. And you know something else, Heather: you’ll be going into a war with me that you’ll wish to forget. Do you think I’m going to lie down and die? Then you know nothing about me. You don’t know what I’m going to do to you, and that gives me the advantage. The World Heavyweight Championship is never going to leave my shoulders. I didn’t fight this hard and long for it to be taken away. Heather, do you want the ECWF heavyweight championship? You’ll have to take it from my cold, dead hands. And Heather? All who have tried have fallen. You’re going to get into a fight that will make you regret ever stepping up to me. I want you to remember what I can do, Heather. I want you to remember everything I had to go through. Through hell and high water, I had to bust my butt to get people's respect. If they don’t want to respect me, I’m okay with that. I don’t ask for or demand it like some other people. Do you want to know what I’ll do? I’m going to earn it to be loved by those fans. Don’t get me wrong; everyone loves me because they know how hard I fought and how much I changed the game in this business.
Do you want to know the difference between you and me? I don't need to use underhanded tactics to get my wins. I'm going to do what I always do and that's fighting fair and square. But understand this, Heather….I can play your games. If I have to fight fire with fire, I will. And those fans? They will still respect me because they know that I’ll do anything to make sure that your dirty hands stay off the ECWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Heather, what I’m going to do to Dawn will be just the beginning. Dawn is going to be broken and torn apart. And it’s not because I hate her, no, it’s because it’s a message that I’m going to send to you, Heather.
I knew sooner or later we were going to fight and I couldn’t think of a better place than the Main Event at ECWF Starrcade. So, as I stated before, Heather, I want you to look into my eyes as I destroyed and humiliated Dawn. Because what I do to her is going to be nothing compared to what I’m going to do to you. Soon you at Revolution, referee.
scene one It was two hours past midnight and both Nakita and Dexter were lying down in bed. It was raining and Thundering outside. Just then Thunder strikes and Nakita wakes up screaming. She turns the light on and there she is wearing nothing. But the covers are covering up her breasts. She put her hand on her face. She turns towards the side table and takes a drink from the glass of water.
"I need help. Why do I keep waking up from the nightmare?"
Sitting up in bed, Dexter Mendez was in fight mode instantly until he saw Nakita sitting there.
”What’s wrong, mami?”
Nakita looks at Dexter and you see the look in her eyes. The fear runs deep and all she can do is cry.
The nightmares, papi. The nightmares from the war. I'm trying to forget about it, but I can't. For a few days, I keep thinking about it and don't know why. I try to keep quiet and not bother you with them. But this time, it was worst."
Dexter could see the fear in her eyes of Nakita.
”Maybe that’s the reason, mami. It’s not something you should be forgetting but something you should be talking about. You shouldn’t keep it all inside because it’s affecting you doing so.
He got up and sat down beside Nakita as he put his arms around her to hug her. She laid her head on his shoulder and hugged him tight. She didn't know what to do or what to say at this point.
"I wanted to be perfect. I didn't want you to have a girl who was weak or vulnerable."
She backs away and looks into his eyes. You can see the steam of tears running down her smooth cheeks.
”You’re perfect. You’re not weak or vulnerable. You went through so much and you just need to deal with it. You’re strong, brave, and a Marine. It isn’t a weakness for you to talk about it. It’s a weakness for you to hold it in because it is doing this to you.”
Dexter wiped the tears from her eyes with his thumbs before placing a kiss on her forehead. She smiled while feeling the kiss on her forehead. The tears went away knowing the love and support that he was giving to her. Maybe he was right about not holding in. It could be a sign of the nightmares that she keeps getting from the war.
"Thank you, Papi. Just you being here and comforting me is a big plus. I don't know where I would be this far without you."
She looks into his eyes some more and puts her smooth hands on his cheeks. She leans forward a bit and plants a gentle kiss on his lips.
"I'm glad you're here. Without you here, I guess I would've ended up screaming throughout the night. But you with me, it makes me feel safe. Please, don't ever leave me."
”I promise you I won’t leave you. I’m always here for you every step of the way. I know you’re capable of dealing with it and I’ll make sure that happens too. You’re my Queen for a reason and as your King, I’m going to protect you at any cost.”
This was a strange feeling for Dexter, he usually dealt with things with violence. It made her smile when he called her his queen. That was surprising, but it felt real. She puts her hands on his shoulders and brings him down on top of her. Her eyes glistened to him and smiled.
"Then show me, my king. I want you to give your queen the pleasure of being yours and yours alone."
”Gladly, mami.”
That’s all Dexter Mendez says before he kisses her with such passion. It ended when the lights went out and all you can hear is the sound of giggling and heavy breathing.
scene two The scene comes up inside an abandoned Military base. It looks like it was destroyed and was nothing more than a pile of rubble. All that’s left standing is the armory. The camera zooms in, and you see Nakita Niles sitting down on a weapon crate. She’s wearing a black tank top, black camouflage pants, black combat boots, and a black beret on her head. On the side of the crate is her ECWF World Heavyweight Championship and trios Championship. Her head looked at the ground before she finally raised it. Her face is covered with green and black camouflage paint.
"Everyone who looks at me sees me as a hero. When they look at me, they see someone willing to fight with everything that is deep inside. Heather decided to mock me and I always knew who she was and it’s going to be an honor to kick her ass all over that arena at Starrcade. She mocks me because of who I am and looks down at me. Why? Because she knows that her time as ECWF Diamond Champion is coming to end."
"At Wartime, I punched my ticket to Starrcade and when they saw that both Heather and I won, the fans knew what was coming. At Starrcade, everything is going to come to an end. Heather, at Starrcade, I’m going to end you once and for all. You stand at the mountain of the Diamond division, but you better believe that I’m going to knock your high horse straight to the bottom where you rightfully belong."
She puts her hand on her chin and begins to think more about Heather and what’s going to happen.
"But before I continue about Heather, I need to speak a little about Dawn Warran. Dawn, at Revolution, Heather beat you. I know that’s something that eats you alive, and I’m sorry about that. When you and I step foot in the ring, it’s nothing personal, okay? I have to send Heather a message, and you’re just that person. I’m not going to sit here and mock you because of who you are. You are who you are, and you can’t change that. You’re smart enough to know who I am and know what I can do in the middle of that ring. What Heather said about you is nothing but disrespectful. Unlike Heather, I respect you and what you can do. Are you good enough to be in this company? Yes. But are you good enough to beat me?" She shakes her head slowly. "No. I’m sorry, Dawn, but I’m not the type of girl to tell lies. But you should know that I won't take it easy on you. If I did, I wouldn’t be at the top of the mountain."
She stands up, grabs her ECWF World Heavyweight Championship, and puts it on her shoulder. She turns and grabs the Trios Championship and puts it on her other shoulder.
"Dawn, I am the Queen of ECWF. I am the one woman in this company that broke the cycle when no others couldn’t. You have people out there thinking that this is just a phase. But what nobody else understands is that I don’t fight for glory or anything like that. I fight because I have to. I have to fight to prove that women like us can fight in a man's world. In the X-Factor match, I put men in their places. The horror of Chamber, I’ve become the first woman to step foot in that match and won it. In the men's Wartime Rumble, I was the only female to enter that match and won it. I did it all and am still here as a rookie. I’ve done things that nobody else had. I’ve shown the world that anything is possible as long as you believe and have faith in yourself."
"Dawn, I’m sorry, but you don’t have anything that I have. At Revolution, I’m going to put you in your place, and I’m going to prove why I am that damn good. I know that everyone says that, but mine is the truth. Not even someone like Heather can touch me. I stand here as one of the greatest females in ECWF history, and nobody can tell me anything different. If you think I’m wrong, then tell me. If not, I think you should be quiet."
She looks at both of her championships and gets a smile on her face. The pride on her face tells it all. These belts have shown her all the hard work that she’s put in.
"And let's get back to heather, shall we? Heather, if you think you're going to screw me out of this match then you'll have another thing coming. Heather, I want you to see in my eyes what's going to happen if you try to mess with me. I want you to see deep in my eyes when I force Dawn to tap out. When you see the pain that I'm going put her through, you better believe that it's going to be worse on you."
She walks forward a bit and tilts her head to the side. She gets a smile on her face and nods a bit.
"Think of this as a message to you, Heather. You know deep down that you won't be able to beat me. Do you want to know the truth? You got lucky that I wasn't after you. You were able to dominate the entire year against all the girls that tried to step up to you. But this time, you have me now. And I'm someone you don't want to mess with. At Starrcade, everything that you ever dreamed about is going to be going down the drain. When people finally see us at Starrcade, they're going to see that all those wins that you had were nothing but easy victories. But I guess you like it, don't you? Guess what? It's not easy. I'm the toughest female in this company, and everyone knows it. I'll see you soon."
She walks away as the scene fades to black. |
