Scene 1
The scene opens up in the parking lot of Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, North Dakota. The site of EHWF's Chaos took place where Jacob Letoa, a member of the Age of Fall, made his debut. Jacob and Jay, who was in Jacob's corner for his debut match, exited the arena, walking over to where the Age of Fall's bus is parked. Jacob is all pumped from his debut match though what happened following his match got him even more fired up.
Jacob Letoa I know it seemed like I made a rash decision, accepting Sujir's challenge but I can't stand by and let him talk all that smack, uce. I wanted to shut him up plus he was practically dangling a Championship match in front of me so I had to accept! It would feel so good to punch his teeth down his throat and win my first Championship, in my second match!
Jay Reynolds No, no, I get it. If I was in your shoes, I would of done the same thing. Sujir Thorn is going to look like such the fool if he loses the Extreme Championship to you. He might even regret throwing the challenge in the first place.
Jacob Letoa Hell yeah, he is! That Extreme Championship will look good around my waist, uce. Now, the training for my huge opportunity begins and I should prepare myself for whatever Sujir throws my way. Win or lose, everyone will remember the name of Jacob Letoa! Yeet!
Jay Reynolds You got this, Jacob! The Age of Fall believes in you! Show the world what Jacob Letoa is all about and take that Extreme Championship from Sujir Thorn!
Jacob is even more fired up now, looking forward to his match against Sujir Thorn for the EHWF Extreme Championship. The two would enter the bus, being greeted by the other members of the Age of Fall who congratulate him for his debut win, and his upcoming Championship match. After a little while, the bus pulls out of the parking lot and goes down the road, the Age of Fall going to celebrate Jacob's debut win. The scene slowly fades to black a few seconds later.
Scene 2
The scene opens up in the Age of Fall's locker room where Jay Reynolds is dressed in his ring gear, seated on the wooden bench, putting on his jacket he wears for his entrance. After a few seconds of silence him and him checking his phone, he begins to speak.
Jay Reynolds It has been quite...eventful as of late. The Age of Fall making their debuts in EHWF, winning their matches. Dan and Roxanne successfully retained their World Tag Team Championships at All or Nothing, beating a team who thinks they're great but don't quite live up to their team name. Then Dan beat Mike for the umpteenth time, keeping the Nex*Gen Championship in his grasp. With that win, he moves on to etch his name in the history books. Holding the Nex*Gen Championship for one full year. Of course, his reign isn't without its detractors. People who think that he shouldn't be Champion. People who think they should be Champion. People who think they should be handed a shot at his Championship without earning it. Well, I got two words for you. Too bad. You have to deal with the fact that he's the reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion. You have to deal with the fact that he held the Championship for so long. You can blame all those who stepped up to challenge him. They all failed. They just didn't have what it takes to pry the Championship from him. With every challenger defeated, Dan proved that he's deserving of being the Nex*Gen Champion. With each passing Championship defense, he has proved why he's the Greatest Nex*Gen Champion of all time. So to all those who wish to step up to Dan, I wish you good luck. You're going to need it. Not only do you have to deal with the seemingly unstoppable Dan but you have to deal with the Age of Fall as well. Who will do whatever it takes to make sure the Nex*Gen Championship stays in Dan's possession for a long...long time.
A slight grin appears on Jay's face.
Jay Reynolds The Age of Fall made the decision to step into EWE, a place so disorganized, filled with constant changes because the powers that be can't make up their damn minds about this or that. A place filled so much gold that it makes you wonder if the gold actually have any meaning or significance. With the amount of gold they have there, it makes you wonder if they are nothing more than participation trophies, used to line one's list of accomplishment. To make someone feel like they're actually something. To make them feel...relevant. Someone could just waltz in there and win a belt with little to no effort. Of course, they could just slap a belt on someone who is a favorite in the powers that be eyes, pitting them against someone lower on the totem pole. For a easy victory. You see, the Age of Fall was briefly employed with EWE only to get the axe, before we can say anything for our debuts. The person who runs the sloppy shop couldn't be bothered to tell us why we got the axe. Some boss he is. Guess he doesn't have any...balls.
Jay laughs.
Jay Reynolds In all honesty, who needs EWE? Not the Age of Fall. That place can rot for all we care. The only places that matter to us at the moment is ECWF and EHWF, until we decide to pop up in another promotion. Speaking of EHWF, the Age of Fall will be quite busy over there. Dan and Roxanne would looking to continue building some momentum in their next match. A Age of Fall member, Jacob Letoa, who was looking to join us here in ECWF but decided to join me, Dan, and Roxanne over at EHWF, has a Championship match coming up. As for me, I have the chance to end the year on a good note. In my EHWF debut, I'll be competing in a battle royal for the Showtime Championship! All I have to do is go through seven other people to pick up my second singles Championship and end 2023 with some gold in my hands.
Jay makes a Championship motion around his waist.
Jay Reynolds Since I'm on the subject of gold, there's some Championships I have my eyes on in ECWF. The National Championship and the Horror-Core Championship. With the draft and the National Championship being exclusive to Mayhem, I have pivoted my gaze towards the Horror-Core Championship. I hear that the GM has some Championship matches lined up for the last Revolution of 2023 so perhaps I could talk him and get myself a Championship match. How about the Horror-Core Championship? I know Caine is supposed to get a shot at it due to winning a number one contenders match but it seems that him or the Champion don't care so maybe, I can slide myself into the match and snatch up the Horror-Core Championship for myself. That way, we can have a Champion who actually cares about the Championship.
The grin on Jay's face is replaced by a smirk.
Jay Reynolds Before I can focus on getting some gold around my waist, I have to focus on my upcoming match against Ace Sky. I mean, what is there to say about him? He came in, with all this hype, only to fizzle out. Now, he's just a doormat, everyone wiping their boots on him then using him as a stepping stone, towards wherever their next destination is. I'm gonna do the exact same thing. He'll be my stepping stone next, as I start my quest towards the Horror-Core Championship. It may be brief, it may be long, but when I do become Horror-Core Champion, I can thank Ace Sky for being the launching pad that propelled me up the mountain, towards the Horror-Core Championship. I'm sure the reason why the GM gave him a match against me is because of what me and Dan did on the Revolution before All or Nothing. Ace thinks he could get some retribution and maybe redeem himself after what happened to him at All or Nothing. Well...it's not going to happen! If anything, you'll be a training dummy for me to show the world what Jay Reynolds can do. To show the world why I'm the "Next Big Hit". People may of forgotten about me but I'm going to remind the whole world who Jay Reynolds is. Once I'm done embarrassing him in front of the whole world, I'm turning my sights on the Horror-Core Championship. Sorry Ace but you're just a casualty in my journey towards picking up another singles Championship. Whether it's here in ECWF or in EHWF, I'm winning my second singles Championship. One way or another. The rise of Jay Reynolds starts here at Revolution, Bay Bay. Believe that.
Jay smirks, feeling very confident about his upcoming match against Ace Sky. Before he leaves the locker room, he sees his phone go off and it's a text from Skylar Clark, his girlfriend. The text reads, "Good luck, babe". Jay smiles, texting back, "Thanks babe". He then exits the locker room, heading towards the ring for his match, getting himself into the zone. Once he's out of sight, the scene slowly fades to black.
