The scene opens up inside the Age of Fall's locker room where Dan Anderson can be seen sitting on a steel folding chair, dressed in his ring gear. He is leaning forward, the Nex*Gen Championship on his lap. He chuckles, shaking his head as he begins to speak.
Dan Anderson You know, I'm not surprised with how things have been going down as well. I knew that I wasn't going to make it too far in the ECWF Championship Tournament. Deep down inside, I had a faint feeling that I was going to get screwed in the tournament as they didn't want a Revolution superstar to hold the ECWF Championship. Which is funny considering what happened next. The guy who comes in whenever it's convenient for him, has a over inflated ego, flaunts his status, and thinks that he's the hottest thing since sliced bread gets handed the Worldheavyweight Championship on a silver platter at World War Four. A Mayhem talent now has Revolution's Worldheavyweight Championship. Now, we have a mess created by a certain someone in power who clearly has a agenda and wants to slap both World Championships on this ancient relic for the sake of "shock value". More like boosting someone's already big ego and trying to line this person's list of accomplishments, if you ask me.
He scoffs as he sits up in his seat, placing the Nex*Gen Championship over his shoulder.
Dan Anderson It seems like the Age of Fall will have to clean up this mess and restore order back into ECWF since everything is in chaos at the moment. I felt like all of this could of been avoided if the things didn't go the way it did at World War Four. I'm not talking about the WarTime Rumble match. Even though the Age of Fall dominated the Rumble, I'm not bothered by the outcome. The WarTime Rumble is unpredictable as you will never know who's going to win. So congratulations to Viktor Kall for winning the WarTime Rumble. Quite the impressive feat for someone who recently joined ECWF. I heard the rumors of you possibly challenging Jay for his Horror-Core Championship in the main event of StarrCade. I should let you know that...it's a bad idea. You could of been the savior of Revolution by snatching the Worldheavyweight Championship from the clutches of this very bad ancient relic and brought the Championship back to Revolution. Now, you'll just be a footnote in Jay's reign as the Horror-Core Champion. Plus, you might also have to contend with the Age of Fall as we might just be little rascals and cause some trouble for you on the road to StarrCade and maybe even at the event itself.
A slight grin appears on Dan's face, adjusting the Nex*Gen Championship that's on his shoulder.
Dan Anderson Since Viktor Kall can be ruled out as being the savior of Revolution, we will need a new savior and that someone is going to be me. I will savior that Revolution needs. I will be the one who's going to march all the way to StarrCade to reclaim the Worldheavyweight Championship back for Revolution. First step of me taking on the mantle of Revolution's savior is the unexpected detour to UnTaken where I'm competing in the Chamber of Horrors match. Where I have to go through five other people to secure my long awaited shot at the Worldheavyweight Championship. While I'm not too happy with how things went down in regards to the Worldheavyweight Championship at World War Four, it does present me a opportunity to...finish the story, so to speak. A story that was started by the ancient relic holding the Worldheavyweight Championship hostage. I'll go in more detail another time but let's just say...his actions prevented me from finally getting a rematch against Damon Cross for the Worldheavyweight Championship. A match I was looking forward to. Since that day, I have been waiting to take him down and now, I might have a chance to do just that. However, I must win the Chamber of Horrors match first before I can...finish the story.
Dan pauses for a few seconds, running a hand through his hair.
Dan Anderson Despite all of that, I can't help but feel...conflicted on where the Age of Fall stands, in terms of alignment. We want to be the good guys. We also want to be the bad guys. We want to stand in the light and feel the adulation from the fans. We also want to embrace our inner darkness and unleash it all on all those who crosses our path while getting the fans to hate us. Hell, the Age of Fall took out my own little brother and I don't even feel bad about it. I saw it as a sacrifice...for the greater good. That right there, is the action of someone who is rotten to the core. Someone is willing to do anything, even taking out their blood, to achieve their plans. I suppose even people who are just despicable...can do some good as well. Maybe, it's ok to embrace both sides, the good and the bad. To embrace the light and the dark. I think the struggle between the two sides started with what's been happening as of late. Which is probably why I want to be savior of Revolution. Of course, I have other reasons for doing so. Nonetheless, I shouldn't let all of this weigh down on me and I should focus on the task at hand. Becoming the Worldheavyweight Champion. It's going to be one grueling journey but I'm prepared for it. The journey starts here at Revolution, where I'll be taking on someone I'm very familiar with...Dark Tiger.
The expression on Dan's face turns a little serious as he continues to speak.
Dan Anderson I knew that we would eventually cross paths again. It was only a matter of time. I haven't forgotten about what happened in Canadian Championship Wrestling. You may beaten me over there but here in ECWF, it's a whole different story. I'm in a whole different league compared to you. You are more like...bottom of the barrel. A doormat that everyone wipes their feet on. Here in ECWF, you are a nobody who is beneath me. Me on the other hand? I'm the Best In The World. I'm the reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion who has held the Championship for over a year. I am virtually unstoppable. You could even go as far as to say that I'm currently operating in God mode right now. God standing for Greatness on a different level. Your arms are too short to box with a god, Dark Tiger. Am I sounding a little conceited at the moment? Yeah, you can say that and this may be that bad guy in me speaking but...I have every right to be. While you was wasting away, doing nothing of importance, I was the man who carried ECWF on his back for all of 2023. Anything you may of done in 2023 pales in comparison to what I have been doing. I have totally eclipsed you and now, I'm about to get some retribution from our last encounter that took place in a now dead company. I have a lot of pent up rage building within me and I'm going to take it out on you, old man. I have been waiting for this moment for a while and now that the moment is here, I'm going to take my time picking you apart. Tear you from limb to limb. Spill your blood all over the mat. To leave you a broken and battered mess. They might have to scrape you off the mat and load you up in ambulance after I'm done with you. Dark Tiger, I'm going to use you to send a message. To show everyone the lengths I will go through, to reclaim the Worldheavyweight Championship. Once the dust settles, you will have no choice but to acknowledge me. Heh. Your fate has been sealed. Your demise is inevitable. Judgment Day is upon you. Remember the night where you met your downfall at the hands of Dan Anderson. The reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion and the next Worldheavyweight Champion. Believe that.
The grin on Dan's face is replaced by a smirk, standing up to his feet. Dan exits the locker room where he meets up with his bodyguard, Gage Atlas, and the current Horror-Core Champion, Jay Reynolds, Dan and Jay fist bumping each other.
Jay Reynolds Looks like things are getting interesting, brochacho.
Dan Anderson You can say that again. The whole Worldheavyweight Championship situation. The potential of me finishing the story. Viktor Kall potentially challenge you for your Championship at StarrCade.
Jay Reynolds This whole Worldheavyweight Championship situation is just one huge mess. I know you're the guy who can bring the Championship back to Revolution and the Age of Fall is doing everything in their power to help you win the Worldheavyweight Championship. As for Viktor Kall, while I admit that he was guts, I think he's making a huge mistake by going after me. I'm not giving a Championship I just won so easily. I hope he's ready to have his dreams crushed if he decides to come after my Horror-Core Championship.
Jay pats the front plate of the Horror-Core Championship that's over his shoulder.
Dan Anderson Heh, thanks. With you all backing me up and possibly even more outside help from those who can't stand the ancient relic, that Worldheavyweight Championship is as good as mine. Of course, we have to watch out for corruption and all that nonsense. Also, there's those ladies on Twitter who seemed to taken a liking to various members of the Age of Fall. Like you, Jacob Letoa, Ryan Kruger, Desmond Edwards, even though he's not a active competitor at the moment. There's also my older brother and the General Manager of Revolution, Brent. Even one of our old bosses and someone is affiliated with the Age of Fall, Bryce Phoenix is getting on the action!
Jay Reynolds What can I say? The ladies love the Age of Fall!
They burst out into laughter. Even Gage is laughing alongside the two.
Dan Anderson Anyways, we should focus on tonight. Jonah Black is going to make quick work on that loser, Ryan Samuels. Roxy takes her first step towards the Women's World Championship when she beats Lylah Lionhart. I will find out who's going to challenge me for my Nex*Gen Championship at UnTaken. Honestly, it doesn't who it is. It could John Blade. It could Travis Deacon Hall. No matter who it is, I'm going to beat them with relative ease. Then I'm looking to start my road to the Worldheavyweight Championship by getting some retribution on Dark Tiger for something that happened in a now dead company.
Jay Reynolds You mean that place? I never liked that place.
Dan Anderson The feeling is mutual. I didn't like it either.
The two chuckle, sharing their disdain for a company they was briefly apart of last year.
Jay Reynolds The Age of Fall have quite the busy night ahead of them. There is one thing I want to ask, is true that your wife is possibly thinking of coming back to ECWF to manage you again?
Dan Anderson She has been thinking about that. Mainly to stop all these assumptions about Roxy and I. Despite the fact that we have made it clear on a handful of times that we are brother and sister. Plus, I think she misses accompanying me to the ring.
The two would continue to talk as they walk down the hallway with Gage Atlas following them, heading to the ring for Dan's upcoming match. Jay is going to be at ringside for Dan's match against Dark Tiger. Once the three are out of sight, the scene slowly fades to black.
