The scene opens up in the backstage area of the ECWF Arena, where Dan Anderson, dressed in his ring gear and the Nex*Gen Championship draped over his shoulder, can be seen pacing from side to side. Standing behind him is his bodyguard, Gage Atlas. Dan stops with the pacing and turns to face the camera, beginning to speak.
Dan Anderson UnTaken was quite the event, wasn't it? My little streak of winning two matches in one night has came to a rather unfortunate end. I could been upset about winning the Chamber of Horrors match but I'm not. Sure, I may not be finishing the story at StarrCade by taking down the guy who couldn't wait until their turn and had to cut to the front of the line whenever I had the chance to do battle with Damon Cross for the Worldheavyweight Championship. While at the same time, being denied the chance to be Revolution's savior by bringing back the Worldheavyweight Championship back to where it belongs. That task falls on TJ's shoulders now and I'll address him in a bit. However, I still have this in my possession.
Dan pats the front plate of the Nex*Gen Championship.
Dan Anderson At UnTaken, I overcome the odds by beating both John Blade and Travis Deacon Hall. Was I sweating the match? Hell no. I knew that deep down inside, I would walk out of St. Louis with the Nex*Gen Championship still in my hands. Travis and John are not even in my league, much less posed a threat to my reign as Nex*Gen Champion. They just couldn't topple a God, no matter how hard they tried. I smashed them then stacked them. The sight of me pinning the two of them at the same time, stacked on top of the other. It would go down as probably one of the greatest moment of my reign so far. The number one moment of my reign is me surpassing one year as Champion. With their defeat, my forever reign as Nex*Gen Champion continues! I mean, who is there left to beat? I practically wiped out most of the challengers and the only other potential challengers are busy going after other Championships. There is that one person who is so obsessed with me but he's never getting a shot so he can cry me a river. I could take a little break from defending this Championship but I already know how that's going to go. People will be whining and crying that I'm just holding onto this Championship and not defending it. They will say stuff like I'm scared or I'm trying to avoid defending my Championship. They will get down on their knees, begging the bossman or my brother to get a shot without earning it. So let me ask you this...can anyone stop me? And who's going to stop me? I have defeated every single challenger who has stepped up to me since I won the Nex*Gen Championship all the way back to the end of 2022. I ran through them all and my latest defense just proves that I am unstoppable. If you think that you can take this Nex*Gen Championship from me then you are more than welcome to try. After earning a shot, of course. Just know that you'll end up like all the rest. Laying on your back, staring up at the lights while I hold up the Championship in the air.
A slight grin appears on Dan's face as he adjusts the Nex*Gen Championship.
Dan Anderson TJ Alexander, the winner of the Chamber of Horrors match and who will be the one to challenge for the Worldheavyweight Championship at StarrCade. You make it hard for me to show you just a little ounce of respect and support you. I was even willing to give you a handshake, congratulate you in person, and wish you good luck. I know you probably would of slap my hand away, say that you don't need it, and tell me to shove it. I heard your little comments earlier in the night. How you think that the Age of Fall are scared of you and worried that you might be coming after the Championships we currently hold. It's laughable that you actually think that. We are not scared of you. If anything, you should be scared of us. Like how Victor, with a C, Kall should be scared of us. We have the numbers advantage and at anytime we want, we could attack you when you least expect it. We would beat you down and leave you a broken, battered, and bloody mess. You should be careful who you pick fights with because if you continue to poke the bear, you're going to regret it. So keep running your mouth and keep bringing our names up. We might be seeing you real soon and when that time comes, let's hope you can back up all that talking. If you do manage to become the Worldheavyweight Champion, you better pray to the gods that I don't get a shot at the Worldheavyweight Championship while you're Champion. If that happens then I'm taking the Worldheavyweight Championship from you and I'm going to do as the Nex*Gen Champion. A Championship that you will never take from me, regardless of your efforts.
Dan stares at the camera with a serious expression for a few seconds then briefly laughs.
Dan Anderson Moving on, I always find it funny when people complain. Whether it's about how there are some who keep getting opportunities after opportunities. Or about their placement on the card. Or how they think that they should be in the main event. I understand if the complaints are coming from someone who has been here for a little while but a guy who has been here for about two months now making these complaints. That's hilarious. I get it. You won the WarTime Rumble. You earned the right to main event StarrCade. Good for you. Give yourself a pat on the back for accomplishing so much in a little amount of time. But to already be complaining? Man, I would hate to see how you handle a loss, especially in a Championship match. Are you going to be one of those people who go silent and let themselves be a punching bag for everyone else? Are you going to be one of those people who take their ball and go home, all because they didn't become Champion on the first try? How about when you lose a Championship? Will you throw a temper tantrum and possibly leave because you're not Champion anymore? I'm sure they are plenty of people who deserve to be in the main event. Like the Women's World Champion. She deserves to main event a Revolution show but you don't see her complaining about not being in the main event. Also, if the Age of Fall really did run this place then you would see every member holding gold. Just saying. Since you want to make a fuss about main events, I'll go talk to my brother about you being placed in the main event of the last Revolution before StarrCade. Just to be careful though. It would be a shame if you made it to StarrCade unless than one hundred percent.
The grin returns to his face.
Dan Anderson Now then, on this Revolution, I'll be taking on Robert Saints...in the main event. The leader of the Age of Fall versus the leader of the Outsiders. What a main event! One for the ages! Surely, no one would get upset about that. Oh wait... *He chuckles.* Anyways, I'm sure you, Robert, want to get your hands on me for what happened these past few shows. On the previous Revolution, the Age of Fall was about to take Travis out of commission, so he wouldn't make it to UnTaken but you and your buddies managed to make the timely save. Then at UnTaken, I prevented him from becoming the Nex*Gen Champion when I beat both him and John Blade. You're probably want to get some retribution for the Age of Fall almost taking him out and redeem his loss from UnTaken. You're probably thinking if you somehow manage to beat me, you'll receive a shot at my Nex*Gen Championship. Well...none of those things are going to happen! The only thing you'll be receiving is...another loss. This time, at my hands. Since you came back to ECWF, you have done nothing but lost. One of those losses was to the Age of Fall's own Jonah Black. So what makes you think that you have what it takes to defeat me? Since becoming the Nex*Gen Champion, I have been virtually unstoppable. Hell, it's safe to say that I'm operating in GOD mode right now. You know, Greatness on a different level. I have been running through people like they are nothing and you're next, Robert. Just like everyone else, you will see why I'm the "Best in the World". You will see why I have been the Nex*Gen Champion for so long. You will see that you're outmatched, outclassed by someone far more superior than you. You see will why I am a God. Once it's all said and done, you will have no choice but to acknowledge me. Your fate has been sealed. Your demise is inevitable. Judgment Day is upon you. Remember this night where you met your downfall at the hands of Dan Anderson. The reigning, defending Nex*Gen Champion and the future Worldheavyweight Champion. Believe that.
The grin on his face is replaced by a smirk. Dan goes to leave but he stops, holding up his finger up, and waggles it from side to side. He takes a few steps back and turns to face the camera.
Dan Anderson Before I forget, there was two more things I wanted to say. I currently have no plans for StarrCade since you know, what happened at UnTaken. ECWF usually does a Icons match at StarrCade and I am free on that night so I was thinking...I should be in the Icons match. It's only natural as I have been on quite the run. Holding the Nex*Gen Championship for over a year and all that other stuff I said countless times. The question is...who will the one to stand across the ring from me to determine the 2024 ECWF Icon? Well, I know one person...Scotty Paine. At StarrCade, I challenge Scotty to a match to determine who should achieve the status of Icon! However, I want to up the ante. I beaten him in a regular match but this time, I want to beat him in his own environment. So I want the match to be contested under Horror-Core Rules! Quite the bold challenge, huh? Well, I'm up for the challenge and I'm looking forward to doing battle with the veteran again. There is one other thing...I have a surprise. What could this surprise be? Not to give too much away, let's just say that a certain someone is making a comeback. As for when they will appear. They could appear as soon as this Revolution or they could appear on the last Revolution before StarrCade. You'll just have to wait and see who this person is...
Dan laughs as he turns to leave with Gage following him, the two walking down the hallway, heading to the ring for Dan's upcoming match. Once the two are out of sight, the scene slowly fades to black.
