BIOGRAPHY Feigel is an American professional wrestler, promoter, social justice activist and actor. He is as unique as they come, the nearly sixty time former World Champion has competed in many different wrestling and fighting styles, his record of winning titles is impressive. In the last 20 years he has been a wrestler, manager, talent scout, promoter, and of course a mentor to many famous individuals in the business. Feigel started competing in local wrestling shows in his hometown of Syracuse, and within his first two years of competing he was holder of the prestigious AWA International Heavyweight title after a 2 hour no-holds barred match that catapulted him into AWA's main event where stars such as Maxx Morphine, Danny Greene, Master Paine, and The Mastermind once gripped the top of the ladder for nearly four years. The Mastermind took over as owner of AWA during the early summer and ordered the AWA International Title be scrapped and ordered reigning AWA International Champion Charles Feigel to compete against the reigning AWA United States Champion Maxx Morphine and the former AWA Vice President Danny Greene to compete in a Triple Jeopardy (Triple Threat) Match for the newly created AWA World Heavyweight Championship. When the dust settled Feigel had beat both men with submissions after devastating the 7'3" Morphine with a Death Valley Driver onto a lethal looking barbwire wrapped steel chair. Later that year Feigel would become infamous for ending Danny Greene's career at a AWA/USWA joint event called Devils Stairway, in which Feigel and Greene would compete on top of a 50 ft steel scaffold partially suspended from the stadium roof and the other part locked into special stabilizers bolted to the ring canvas. Danny Greene would fall nearly 50 ft and landed onto stacked tables which would fracture his vertebrae in his neck which would for a time paralyze him from the neck down. Feigel haunted by this would retire but return a year later to reclaim his AWA World Title which was now merged with the USWA World Title. Feigel would go onto capture the title from Davis Jackson, in which Feigel would send Jackson to the hospital with a concussion after driving him straight through a reinforced table in the AWA owners office after an altercation that resulted in Feigel later being suspended, which didn't last long when Feigel under a masked character known simply as "Pi" bought the company and began to set standards by carrying the World Title for a month until vacating it and ordering the title to be retired. After 19 months at the helm of AWA/USWA the company split into two brands; renamed Old Skool Championship Wrestling and KORE. Later that year the company folded but not because of Feigel but because of inner turmoil that seemed to threaten the sanity of all who were involved. Now he is the founder and Superintendent of Asylum Wrestling Society and Ik0n Wrestling Entertainment.
Feigel's career has been one of legends, winning, losing, making people tap out, dropping them on their heads, and of course some may argue he is a career ender for many superstars who never graced another ring after competing against him. The most arguable fact about this icon of hardcore is that he will not quit while in submission holds, he would rather pass out than be forced to say the dreaded "I QUIT" words. Feigel has only "officially" tapped out once in his career and that was in a match to end a long feud with Scott Styles after years of trying to battle on their own terms. Career and personal life aside this icon can't get enough of being champion and has vowed to add to his impressive title records.
